As a Sales Consultant I find I get quite involved in people’s lives and thought it only appropriate to share a little of myself.

Leaving for foreign shores at age 17, I spent my formative adult years in the hospitality industry, as Kiwis abroad often do.
I initially started out as a cook in a seafood restaurant on Sydney’s Manly Beach and then over time graduated through to the management. The old Kiwi ‘can do’ attitude didn’t go unnoticed and I was soon commissioned to set up and manage several upmarket eateries and guest houses.
In 1984, after two years of fairly intensive training, I qualified as a commercial pilot. This was the most demanding educational period in my life and a time from which I have many fond memories.
My first experience in real estate came in March of 1988 when I was offered a job with the ‘Century 21’ network on Sydney’s exclusive lower North Shore. Having worked very hard for my clients for several years I was then asked to join Century 21’s Mosman office which catered for the top end of the housing market. These were great days where I was on a steep learning curve, but they allowed me access to sell some of Sydney’s finest homes.
In 1993 I returned to New Zealand and joined a major Wellington real estate company that shared its interests between the residential and commercial sectors.
In the late 1990’s I seized the opportunity to become a founding member of Tommy’s Real Estate in central Wellington. This was a new and exciting brand and offered home owners the chance to work with a young, energetic team of salespeople all sharing in the vision of the company’s founder, Tommy Heptinstall. Since the early days, the company has gone on to become not just the powerhouse in Wellington Real Estate, but a company by which many others on a national level measure themselves.
I now consider myself very fortunate to be back at home on the Kapiti Coast and a member of Tommy’s Real Estate in Paraparaumu. I hope over time I can be of service to you and your family and look forward to sharing a little of what I have gained, to make your next sale a successful one.
