Onesie Day is an annual appeal by Wellington Free Ambulance (WFA). The purpose is to raise the money necessary to fill the gap between allocated government funding and what WFA requires to continue running their free service. Participants were asked to celebrate WFA by putting on a collectors bib, grabbing a collection bucket and wearing their best onesie to volunteer for the annual street appeal.
In support of our ongoing partnership with Wellington Free Ambulance, our salespeople flocked to the streets to get collecting and we collected more than $3,000 for the day!
We are also especially excited this onesie day as we announce Tommy’s have once again committed to donating $75,000 to Wellington Free Ambulance for the next 12 months!
We continue to support Wellington Free Ambulance because of all the amazing work they do for our community, saving lives every day. Tommy’s believe that in the case of an emergency, first response care should be available to everyone, and no one should be excluded because of cost.
